well sooner. i allways have alot of pasta on hand but you have me beat.  when i see pasta on sale for like 68. i will buy like 10 boxes. some i never buy is any size elbows , orzo . and im not crazy about fafalle. i allways buy boxes in pairs of 2 though.

To answer the OP, pasta is a once-in-a-while treat,

so that bag of lentil-pasta has been there for some time!

My husband is Italian; we always have A LOT of different pasta in the pantry.

I only have whole wheat spaghetti and orzo but I'm planning to buy some whole wheat macaroni next weekend.

That's all I can remember, as I don't cook so much anymore.

For dry pasta I like the Dreamfield's brand, so that's what all of them area except for the orzo.

We only eat elbow macaroni, spaghetti, lasagna noodles, and egg noodles, so that’s all I ever have on hand.

No one mentioned Rigatoni!  That is my favorite.  We have lasagna noodles (had lasagna tonight) Rigatoni, Penne, Spaghetti, Elbows and Shells.  We mix several kinds together when we have pasta dish.  We also like Cavatini where we used several types of pasta, part spaghetti sauce and part pizza sauce, plus pepperoni, onions, green peppers, mushrooms and after cooked, melt cheese on top.

Spaghetti, penne and egg noodles. I try to put together a monthly menu so they will get used. I'd never throw it food unless it was past the expiration date.
