I have to bring a large pan of Lagasna for XMas Eve. I would like to make the sauce and put it together a day or two apart. The sauce will have meat and sausage in it. When would be safe to prepare and then store it in the fridge? (I would cook it completely before putting it in the fridge). Thanks.
