I have to always buy hot dog buns. Even if we are not having any hot dogs.

Because my donkey likes one for a treat every day.

Yes. I buy hot dog buns for a miniature donkey.

And, my husband doesn't let the horse see because he doesn't want Jay to start demanding a bun every day, too.

we prefer the top split buns.

sloppy joes are great for the top split buns.

when they get stale i use them to make croutons for use in salads or soups.

I rarely have hot dogs at home. I just use a slice of bread for the bun. A small slice. White or wheat is fine.

@Dusty1 you aren't weird at all. Lots of us find your actions normal. I saw a fainting goat stiffen and fall over at the sight of a slice of bread!! Like he knew what that was and wanted it. Thank goodness his mom wasn't holding a bun. Lol

@On It I totally get that. That fish market scent isn't perfume.

Your DH might take advantage to get his fish-fix over the next few weeks as this particular time of year a larger population are eating fish on Fridays more than they usually do. Some nice specials are out there.
