A few days ago I got an email saying they would be shipped out on December 30. Today I see in my order history the shipping date has been changed to December 2022.

I understand, but I wish they could have sent an email explaining why. I assume we're all in the same boat, right?

We bought them last year for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed them!  Smiley Happy

They delayed it for a whole year?

Are you on auto delivery for next year?  I think you need to contact the mods for an explanation.

Good idea @Kachina624 ! The mods have helped me in the past many times.

I checked my AD's tonight. It had the December 2021 one listed and it said "cancelled." Right above it was the same thing with a shipping date of December 30, 2022. I imagine they couldn't get all of them for this year's shipment and automatically moved the next shipment to next year.

As I said earlier I understand, but I wish they had emailed me.

I am surprised how many times they cancel orders without telling me. Sometimes I do get an email, but I should receive one every time!

Wonder if they are cancelling the TSV.  I bought them one year, delicious, the next year they were awful.  They said a lot depends on the weather.  I thought the TSV was scheduled for 12/29.  So 12/30 should have been correct.

@beach-mom   hope it’s an error and they truly aren’t skipping an entire year.  Now I’m curious!  I would think they would honor auto deliveries before new orders.  But then again......that would make sense!

Notification responsibilities aside, I wonder if Cushman's has an adequate supply. Almost all the citrus I have bought in 2021 came from CA or Mexico or south of there.  I drove only once to the local stand closest to me because much of their fruit also wasn't from Florida.

Re: Honeybells - December 2021

Last month I inquired about Honeybells.   a FL poster said she drives by - what was the Cushman groves - and it's in total disarray.

Cushman sold out to Harry & Dave few years back.   I couldn't get HC ;last year - and no straight answers so bought from HALES - even there weather - lots of rain - resulted in so-so oranges.  Think CA and Mexico is the source now.
