I get it that this is not ordinary grocery bacon, but $16 a pound! I'm sure it's all that and knocks the socks off bacon lovers, but that's quite an extravagant purchase. I suppose it's what you want though if the occasion is special, and you want memorable taste experiences.

Well, you shouldn't eat more than maybe an ounce at a time, so it fits with QVC's famous "only a dollar a day!"

I don't often eat bacon, but the best bacon I've ever had is the center cut from Aldi at $3.69.

I used to order more food items but I have learned to use wisdom and not fall for the HYPE, the only thing I buy now is the Kansas city steak burgers and I still don't order it all the time. The prices are high, I even think the Cheryl's cookies are high and the brownies from today are small and super expensive.

Cracker Barrel sells its bacon also in some grocery stores....love it....they also sell it in their country stores and it is$4,99 lb....an absolute steal compared to theQVC stuff!

Not sure where you saw that price but it sounds like $7 per pound of bacon and then QVC shipping charges are added on...

I also buy lean bacon from my butcher and I choose apple or hickory smoked at $6.99 lb.

Love it baked on top of roasts and meat loafs as it adds so much flavor to them, and I always use a wire rack so the fat drips off.

Also enjoy bacon and eggs in the morning with OJ and buttered toast, and the bacon drippings I keep and use for soup flavorings as well as for other items too.

I buy trader joes natural Apple wood smoked bacon and it is the best.

My meat market has fresh, thick sliced bacon for $2.79 if you buy a minimum of 5#. Plus, your choice of smoke favors. Hickory, applewood, etc.
