Help about rice and cabbage plese

Saw a recipe I wanted to try. Husband said we had rice. it called for instant in the oven. Can we use cooked regular rice? He is cooking it now so how much rice do we put in cooked? Also it called for shredded cabbage. I wasn't there when dh shredded it. Looks more like cole slaw now. It sounded so good with ground beef and spaghetti sauce. Just wondering what do you think it will turn out like now? I think the recipe was by a misty.

I don't know how much this will serve so please note servings when you list. We are only two but can freeze leftovers.

Next will be kaluah brownie bars. Bought the ingredients for that-couldn't resist. Son has kaluah.
