Re: Have they changed JELLO ?

Well, that's not good news.  I just purchased these jello molds to use when the grandkids come to visit.  I figured berries and ice cream or maybe brownie cupsCapture.JPG

I hope someone called the Jello people about this.  Must have been a bad batch.

I hope they had something else in addition to jello for dessert. I can't imagine offering that to guests.

Hmmm, I didn't think that the gelatin from boiling the bones from pigs and cattle ever expired.

I solved that problem. Jello, is out. Great Value jelled up in an hr. Solid, no soup.

Throw in some nuts or marshmallows and I'm back in

business.

Re: Have they changed JELLO ?

Don't know if this will help, but sometimes jello will not set if the water you use isn't at a rolling boil.  Heating it in the microwave is sometimes not enough. It has to really be boiling.

Never was a problem in the past.

Re: Have they changed JELLO ?

I make jello, usually plain, two to three times a week and never have a problem. I always use the one cup boiling water and then add one cup cold water method. Sets up every time....just made some blueberry yesterday and no problem.

@SharkE : So sorry that you are having this problem.

I discovered last week that the Nilla Vanilla Wafers have changed. The expiration date on the box was 2025. They just tasted different and not as crispy. DH agrees with me.
