Have You Tried Norm's Crispy Seasoning Yet?

M135995. I've been doing some experiments with this seasoning, and so far I like it. I made wings yesterday with the Smokehouse seasoning, and DH said never mind the wings from our usual place. No oil used and baked for 35 minutes at 450. Very crispy and juicy.

I've done a few batches of broccoli and cauliflower florets. The first batch I used the recommended amount, and it was too salty. The second batch I underseasoned. I guess a bit of a learning curve. I wish they would provide more detailed instructions with veggies.

Have you tried these seasonings yet?

Very interesting product. I'm tempted to buy it for myself and for my daughter. Did you like it and do you recommend it? I took a look at their website, Saratoga Spicery. They sell it for $12.99 per bag online plus $8.00 to ship the same 3 items. The QVC pricing is good... $24.00 vs $46.97! They have a lot of other products too.

Thanks for posting about Norm's Crispy Seasonings.

Re: Have You Tried Norm's Crispy Seasoning Yet?

@Lovestheshores  I've only tried the "Original" and "Smokehouse." Jury is still out on how it does with veggies, but the Smokehouse on wings is a hit at our house.I'm going to try it on boneless thighs this weekend. I paid $19.20 including tax. It's now listed at $24.00. If you think you'll use all three flavors, it's definitely cheaper on QVC. The ingredient that makes the food crispy is baking soda.

Still not sure until I get better instructions for veggies. I sent a message on the Saratoga chat and didn't get a reply.

Frankly,  I'm hoping someone here has does more experimentation with veggies. I can definitely recommend it on chicken.

@Lovestheshores  Adding this info. It does make the veggies crispy. Not great French fry crispy, but def crispy. The veggies have some burned marks, and that makes them better.
