I can't seem to find it around here. Any suggestions for a substitute? It's a red beans and rice for the pressure cooker recipe.TIA

I love tasso! Try smokes sausage or smoked ham as a substitute.

If you can get andouille, that is a good substitute. Otherwise the smokiest sausage you can get should work.

Love tasso. Not something you can find in North Georgia, though. I either order it (last time, ordered from Costco), or make my own.

Has a good garlic, smoky flavor. Tasso isn't actually ham. It's made from pork shoulder; heavily smoked.

I would go with Foxgirl and use sausage. Won't taste the same as with tasso, but will still be great.
