Do you have other brand grocery stores in your area?
We have Ingles (hometown man), Publix, and until recently, Food Lion.
I found Uncle Ron's cole slaw at the local Acme ++++
And Giant's own cole slaw++++.
Disappointed in every other pre-made salads from local groceries.

If you want disgusting drippy mayonnaise laden chicken salad prepared try Costco. It's awful and stay away please. I had to throw it out it was so gross....really.
I was so surprised as usually products are pretty good at Costco meaning fresh meats, etc.. Never again. Even I know how to make a better chicken salad home made. Number one don't load it up with the drippy mayo sliding off that plastic bowl it comes in. Just gross. I think Publix does it too.

Reser's is in stores here but I haven't tried it. In my opinion, the best store-bought potato salad is Aldi's. Not only is it good but you can't beat the price: approx $3.99 for two lbs.

Resers Potato salad is very popular where I live. It's one of our favorites and we especially like the one with deviled egg in it! We buy if often.

Answer to question....yes to Reser's Potato Salad...good as well as the Coleslaw. I buy it quite often for a quick side dish. I agree..."nothing like homemade" but with just two of us now I take the shortcut and like Reser's. When more people are here or family is together, I will take the time to make my own.....a real treat too!

I agree! - I used to take the time to do homemade, but I'm too tired (and impatient) to boil, peel, chop, etc. etc. now - (@Pink123 - Don't faint - LOL)
On the rare occasions that we eat it, Resers is fine and their Macaroni Salad is pretty good too.

Do you have any restaurants close that you could buy a container of their salad. Like KFC sells their coleslaw, maybe a restaurant close to you has the same with their potato salad. I agree with whoever said making potato salad is a PIA!! Its not hard at all but way too time consuming for me

@ECBG- All the pre-packaged potato salads I've purchased have way too much mayo. I buy the Kroger Southern potato salad in the 16 oz. tub and add 2 cooked chopped russet potatoes, some diced red or orange peppers, a little chopped green parts of a green onion and a little honey mustard. Even after adding the potatoes, it still have enough dressing for us. I also add some seasonings. Just made some this a.m. Makes a good amount for hubby and me.

@LavernLuvsShoes I knew you would find me, hahaha. Are you still playing the games over there? It was fun until we ran out of repetitive answers and so I stopped. Hope your well and nice to say Hi!
