Has Anyone Gotten Sweet Clemtines?

I got a small wooden crate on the big weekend sale, and although juicy, practIcally no yummy flavor!!!Woman Frustrated

I got some too.  They tasted flat..  I ate one and threw the rest away after they sat for a week and no one ate them.

 

Maybe this years crop isn’t so good.

I had the same disappointing reaction. Definitely not very sweet or juicy.

Same thing here.  Bought a large bag and now don't know what to do with them.

I think Dan mentioned in so many words they weren't going to be as sweet as the Honey Bells, that's why I passed.

 

But either way, could sure go for a glass right now.

I once purchased those honey bells from QVC and they were not sweet at all or juicy.  I never purchased them again.  It was a waste of money.

i bought a box of clemetines last week. we has some last night and they were nice and sweet and we like them cold.

I'll only buy clementines from Spain and Morocco, they're so much better than the ones from California.  They're sweeter, have less seeds, and the skins aren't tough.  Spain and Morocco have been growing them longer, I think they've perfected the process.
