Happy Fall from Trader Joe's

I went to do my usual grocery shopping this morning. A guy came up and put a half gallon of apple juice in my cart. As he did so he wished me a " Happy Fall" from Trader Joe's. He added the apple juice was free! It's no wonder I don't shop anywhere else. I was amazed.

I just got back from there - got just about one of everything pumpkin...

No free juice for me though...

Love TJ's!! Not only the variety of unique products, good prices, friendly help, but I love that the size of the stores is not overwhelming. If I have to run back and forth to get things from different aisles, it's do-able. Some of the major grocery chains have built such huge stores that are just too big!

I was thrilled when a TJ finally opened close enough to my home to shop there fairly often, but if I can't go mid=morning on a weekday, I just refuse to go! Way too busy, not enough parking near the store, and I would never be one to buy my whole food list there. I don't love everything although certainly enough to go when I can.

Yes,I think today was my lucky day. Things like this don't usually happen to me. Gestures like this will keep me coming back. Hopefully you will get lucky next time.

I agree - it hasn't happened recently, but there have been two occasions when they gave me flowers. One was when my mom was with me and wasn't feeling well. The other was for no reason....I was headed out to my car after checking out and the cashier came out and handed me a bouquet of flowers.....just because. No wonder I'm a regular shopper there!

I thought of you right away Terrier when I saw all of the Halloween stuff. I remember what a good time you had last year and this year didn't disappoint either!

We love TJ's and shop there weekly. My husband takes their salads to work daily. Many times I have asked an employee about a product and they have just opened it up for me to sample it. They have done this with different fruits that I was not aware of the particular variety, on lychee fruit that I had never tasted, on some coconut chips that I was wondering about, and some lemonaide flavor I was not sure about. They just always ask, "would you like me to open it up for you to sample it?" Of course, I say, sure, that would be great. It keeps me a happy customer.
