HAPPY 4TH OF JULY !!!

Hope everybody is having a happy and safe 4th! We're having storms here, but it's quiet at the moment. We just finished burgers and fries/tater tots for our special lunch (I wasn't up to doing much and burgers are sort of a special treat for us anyway). YUM! What was your special 4th meal?

It is great to live in America! Freedom of thought, expression, religion...we can enjoy our freedoms and celebrate our differences in peace without fear of reprisal.

This 4th, I'm thankful for my family and the freedoms we enjoy and would like to remember my dad, a three-war veteran (WWII, Korea, Vietnam) who passed in 1990 and the many, past and present, who have fought and sacrificed and even died so that we may enjoy these freedoms. Thank you for your sacrifices and God bless!
