@shoptilyadropagain   At our Meijer it is $3.49 also.  But the first 3 package you buy they take .52 cents off per pound at the register making it $2.97 lb.  Just go back in and buy more packages and you get it again for $2.97 lb.

At my local grocery store it run between $6-$7/lb.  I don't buy it there any more.  I buy it in bulk at Costs (divide and freeze).  $4.99.  I used to buy a sirloin tip roast from my grocery store for years.  When I started buying it, it was $4.99/lb.  I priced it the other day and it's now $10.97/lb.  I had to take a couble check because I thought I was reading the weight.  I liked cooking that in the crockpot all day during the winter.  Won't be doing that any longer.

For those near an Acme, their 80/20 ground beef will be $2.99 a pound with the digital coupon starting 8/29 through September fourth. That's the cheapest I've seen in a while. I just got their ad today.

During Covid beef prices were even higher and some beef cuts scarcer. Seemed like people were hording  beef also, especially when on sale. Limited  GB pkgs.and would send kids in to buy etc.
