Grilling outdoors year-round

Another discussion prompts me to ask: Does anyone grill (using a propane unit) outdoors year-round?

My family always has -- going back to the 1970s that I recall. We are in the northern Midwest and in inclement weather simply have the grill near the back door/patio doorwall etc. and step out to tend the meat. In other words, weather is never an impediment but others have implied they only grill in warm-weather months. Just wondering, how unusual is it to grill outdoors year-round?

We have a grill that is hooked directly to the house gas line. We use it all year long, but it doesn't go below freezing here. Those propane tanks scare me and I would be hesitant to leave one outside in the very cold temps.

Mine is hooked to our house gas line too
