Gingham arrived? What's cooking?

Have your gingham Temp-tations arrived? What color did you get? What will you be making in them?

I so don't need to get interested in another TT pattern, but I really liked the "springiness" of this new pattern. I am considering the yellow, because I have some yellow Old World and not much is being released to go with it. I still haven't taken the plunge, but I'm sure liking it. I think I heard that more pieces are coming in this pattern. Wouldn't bowls be cute?

I bought the yellow gingham in the 9x13 dish. I will use it for Taco casseroles, dump cakes. It is sooo bright and cute. Yes, gingham bowls would be perfect!!!

Re: Gingham arrived? What's cooking?

I have the red 9x13 pan. I was considering buying the three piece set to go with it but now I think I'll wait to see if some bowls or lid its become available. They are so cheery and I really like the pattern and the color. The paint job on mine is actually nice. I boxed up 3 other sets and sent them back today. I decided that I have to get more selective because my shelves are getting full of dishes with bad paint jobs and muddy washes. I''m only keeping the nice ones from now on. I've had a little to much patience and it was getting unreasonable.

I'm leaning toward the red although I love every color in this collection.

There are a lot of potlucks at church and with this spring/summery pattern I think of fresh fruit, an arrangement of crudites as well as desserts and fried chicken.

I got the lime green, 3 piece set for in our camper where I needed some dishes to serve food in.However, I had it sent to my niece in Pa so i won't see it tilmid May. I just love the cheerfullness of it.I'm thinking i may let it sit out on the counter instead of putting it in a cupboard.

I would love a set of bowls also. I love the red. It just screams summer to me.
