Gingerbread Recipe

I have recently made 2 different gingerbread recipes (for cake, not cookies ) and have found them to be very dry. Next I tried a commercial gingerbread cake from my local supermarket and found that dry too, Does anyone have a good recipe for gingerbread that I can try?
