Are they fabulous?  I see the Q2 Big Deal of them but have never ordered them.  If you've had them please let me know if they are worth the purchase.  Thanks!

LOVE Germack products! They are made here in my state. I always try to buy local and where I live its difficult to find Germack. We took a trip downstate last week and made a point to load up on all of my Germack goodies!

Re: Germack Nuts

[ Edited ]

I really like the Germack products.  They are a nice mix of sweet and salty.  Only problem is once I open a container, I can't stop eating them!

Good point by Caaareful Shopper below.  I think I did have same mix once with chickpeas and it was only one I did not care for.

My suggestion is to look at the ingredient list carefully of the specific Germack mix you want.  I find that some mixes are fantastic, while others are horrible.

They had some chickpeas in one mix a while ago, and they nearly broke my tooth!  A lot of the reviews said the same thing.

Then sometimes you get a minuscule amount of a favorite ingredient, and handfuls of the others.

So, I think it's definitely worth trying, on a small scale, if you can.

I have ordered several times over the years, but not any longer.

Everytime, I get a container w/ 90% peanuts!  Very few of the GOOD things they show on TV.

Not worth the money for us.

Ordered one time years ago--and got 3 jars of broken nuts and the inside looked cloudy from the dust from the stuff being tossed around----was horrible--and none of the contents were as beautiful as on TV. Ending up using it mostly for baking. Got my $$ back tho.

I was going to order them as well, but when I read where pepitas come from,  I had second thoughts..

I have ordered this product several times; it's a favorite for gifting, but fabulous is not how I would describe this nut mix.

For fruit and nut varieties, there's A LOT more fruit than nuts. For nut varieties, I always found the product had an abundance of the filler nuts, like peanuts, in relation to cashews and pecans.

My solution was to start buying mixed nuts at Sam's Club.

I ordered some a few years ago.  I didn't think they were worth the $ spent.
