George Foreman Evolve grill stopped working

Bought my George Foreman grill in December. I keep it unplugged when not using it because I don't want it to draw electricity when not in use. I hadn't used it in about a month or so and last night I go to plug it in and no lights are on. I left it plugged in all night and just noticed that the red lines are starting to show but barely. I tried hitting the power button and the red lights went out and its completely dead once more. I can't believe this happened in less than a year. I had my old grill 7 years and nothing happened. I know QVC wont accept a return now and am ticked. Anyone else have this happen to them?
