Thanks to the person who mentioned calling the number on the front of the instruction manual, they are sending me another GF roaster and they said simply to cut off 1" of the plug and send it to them when I have time.

Based on some reviews I have read, I will keep the insert tray on the old one and trash the rest unless there are some electricians that can put a new plug on it and perhaps at the same time repair the lid so it is not dangerous. Depending on the cost to do this I may just simply keep the insert pan as some have said they would have liked another one.
