Genius Speed Slicer Plus

I just received my Genius Speed Slicer Plus, but there were no directions in the box for chopping onions. On In the Kitchen with David Sunday they talked about how they were going to show us how to do it, but did not. Does anybody know how to do that and would you please talk me through it if you do. Thank-you
