Frozen waffle eater sounds like a sad insult someone would hurl at someone in a Hallmark channel movie about two chefs who hate each other and then fall in love.

Oh yeah? Well... you're a... you're a frozen waffle eater!

I love something they used to say in the forties and fifties: ""Go run up an alley and holler fish""! I don't know where it came from but it always makes me laugh.

Why in the world would a company choose to use something like that instead of a cheap, readily available ingredient. I don't think you need to worry… this sounds like BS (badger s*%t) to me.

Where are you from? Are we related I wonder??

I'm from the land of "let's get real" and "don't believe everything you hear" … New York City.

I'm 1/2 Italian so its in my blood. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin} From Washington State originally.

Like when my vegetarian friend found out the "natural" melatonin she took for sleep came from the pineal glands of sheep!

What body part is that ?{#emotions_dlg.blink}

I wonder who ever got the ideas to use these different things in food?

BTW I love raspberry stuff, who knew where it comes from? I thought I was just eating fruit

and I'm vegan...........sigh {#emotions_dlg.sad}

I think those frozen waffles are tasteless. It's just as easy to make up a small batch of batter & make up some waffles to wrap well & freeze.

I spent all of my summers with my grandparents when I was growing up.

I would eat pickled pigs feet, and lamb's tongues (they were also in jars) with my grandfather...you couldn't pay me to even try them now...but as I recall, they were pretty tasty LOL.

I'm with you on the pickled pigs feet (we also used to put unpickled ones in our Italian Sunday sauce). We used to get tongue at the deli counter. I've never seen it pickled.

At 66 posts, I had to see what could possibly be so exciting about frozen waffles. I know better.

When I see weird ingredients like this it makes me wonder why someone would think to put it in food. Or to use in makeup, etc. Does someone just say, "hey, that beaver gland juice smells interesting! I will think of a way to collect some, go to the trouble of getting it, and then try it in my beef stew." And then someone else says, "yeah, that's a great idea! Let's put it in lots of things and sell it to food companies." And then the food companies say, "Oh yes, please sell us lots of beaver gland juice because we also think that's a great idea." It makes ya wonder.
