Is anyone familiar with fresh farm eggs? I buy them from a local farmer and have noticed when I crack the egg, some of them have a black dot on the white of the egg.

Is it still edible? What causes this? Should I just pick out the black dot and still use the egg?

I love buying fresh eggs this way, but it 'bugs' me about the black dot.
