Growing up, my mom always boiled the corn in a pot of milk. It came out tender.

When we lived closer to town the farmer next door planted a type of swwet corn called butter sugar, yellow and white kernals.  We were able to just go pick some. Nothing like corn straight from the field to table in minutes.  Good grief was that corn good.

I got a notice that Georgia sweet corn had arrived at our farmer's market here in WI @SaveTheTurtles. It got rave reviews. Typically, we wait until late July for locally grown corn.

There is a local farm where I get fresh corn. They usually have white or a mix of white and yellow. It is so good! It won't be available for probably several weeks but last year they had it well into September.

I'm going there tomorrow to pick up a few things and I'm going to ask about the corn! I can't wait!!🌽

@piperbay   hmmm.  I've never heard of this, I am going to try it!  We usually do it in a bit of water in the microwave or out on the grill.  Yum.

Had corn few weeks ago and it was delicious.  Picked more up today at grocery but the price knocked me over - $ .69 an ear.
