I've always used Lock 'n Lock to freeze soups etc. What are you using?
Please share if you've adjusted your storage habits because of concerns over plastic containers.
Are you sure that what you read referred to storing and freezing, and not to re-heating in plastic? The information about not re-heating in plastic has been around for quite a while now, but I've never seen anything that says freezing food in plastic is bad. And yes, I freeze in LocknLock, Rubbermaid, etc. But I always transfer to a non plastic container to reheat.

Thank you. I appreciate your comment @shoesnbags
I looked into my concern a little further. I was glad to read that freezing in plastic is okay IF the container is labeled freezer safe.

I use BPA-free plastic storage containers for freezing, but don't heat anything in those containers. I make and freeze a lot of soups and I find that the plastic containers are much more practical for me because they're easier to stack and store, especially once the contents are frozen. Then I can stick them here and there, squeeze 'em in sideways, etc. lol.
