Someone just gave me a beautiful 10 pound box of fresh blueberries that I intend to freeze. I know to freeze them in a single layer on cookie sheets, then bag them after they are frozen individually. This is the part I need help on: Several people have told me NOT to wash them first, that they can be rinsed quickly before use. I tried googling this, and am coming up with different opinions. This method definitely appeals to me, the idea of washing and drying that many berries is a bit daunting...but I don't want to ruin them. Any opinions?
Thanks!
