What do you use to label items you put in the freezer?

I had some nice freezer labels that were removeable, with no leftover residue and now I can not find them anymore.

Suggestions please.  Thank you.

@Abrowneyegirl, I use small stick-on labels that I bought at an office supply store. They peel off containers with no residue left behind

Freezer Tape. Looks like masking tape but stays stuck on in the cold. Easy to peel off of the containers after you've used it.

Food Saver freezer bags - you can write directly on the bags using a pen or sharpie.  The label part is on the bottom of the bags if you want to use it.

Amazon has some fabulous dissolving freezer labels.  Lines to write date & contents on.  When run under warm water, the label turns to a gel and then completely disintegrates!  I don't remember the name of them, but they come in a little box that looks like it has a green gingham print.  The box also acts as a dispenser (with a slot in it), for easy peeling.  Love them!!!  Hope this is helpful.

I use a lot of 1 gal freezer bags that you can write on and I also have roll of freezer tape to write on and stick on containers with contents and date frozen.
