1-2x a year I crave a Big Mac from McD's, and nothing else will satisfy that craving.

My husband wonders why I bother, as the cheese and lettuce have to go, along with the top bun.   So it's basically a double hamburger with special sauce, onions and pickle.

@QVCkitty1    That's easy...I don't like ice cream.  When I was teaching and eating school lunches...on the days they had ice cream cups with lunch....our guidance counselor always took mine off my tray.  He could not believe that anyone could not like ice cream.  He said it was "Unamerican".  😁

Those cups of ice cream they serve at schools are generally not a good enough quality ice cream to tempt most adults in my opinion.  At least that's been my experience.

for me, its chocolate.  really dislike chocolate on chocolate (as in cake, with icing)  ,don't mind chocolate, with something, like white cake with chocolate icing.  also don't like choc. chips, or chunks in stuff.

@QVCkitty1 OH yes!  We make that kind where you grind up sugar, cranberries and an orange in the food processor and nuts as I remember.  The recipe is on the cranberry bag I think.

Anyway, we put a little Grand Marnier and wow is that good!  It is the only cranberry thing I really like!

Nothing peaks my interest anymore..I think this past 7 months I've made everything we "craved", "like" and more ...

Turkey is my fav but even I'm not wanting it!

Today it was pb on toast..simple and good.

@homedecor1 AMEN!!!!!  You took the words right out of my mouth!  And yes, pb and eggs are our fall-back food.  And Amy's Mexican frozen dinners with a LOT of salsa!

That's what we eat at the bottom of the list!  LOL!!  And yes, I'd like a McDonalds burger and that I cannot figure out!  We have steak and salmon, fresh greens, veggies and great food, and I want a 79 cent burger?????  Woman Embarassed

@Sooner

At this point food or anything food related just doesn't thrill me!

After 5 months my spouse was feeling better & wanted steak.  Of course, I was thrilled he felt like going out to eat so of course, we went.  I don't make steak at home -- just never get it the way he likes nor will I pay $15.99/lb. for rib eye to ruin it😉

We got to restaurant and he wanted appetizer.  He asks me what are you ordering.  I looked at the "limited" menu and said "nothing thrills me".

I ordered a caesar salad & even that tasted crappy -- came home had a hard boiled egg.

Plus, the atmosphere felt weird very rushed and wasn't like days prior to Covid where you just relaxed, chatted and enjoyed a nice dinner.

I'm glad he enjoyed his dinner🙂🙂

PS: Fyi:  The cheap hamburgers at McD are $1.29 now -- the reason I know because we were coming home from pulmonary dr and he felt like a McD cheeseburger and fries.  The small fries cost more than the cheap cheeseburger😉
