Recently a friend and I were talking about foods we could take or leave.  I came up with peanut butter and yogurt. Occasionally Iwill get a craving for one of these , and when I satisfy it, I don't want to see them again for a year. What do you like once in a blue moon, and then you're over it ?

@QVCkitty1  Fried smelts or smoked oysters for 7 Fishes. Not really a fan, but DH loves them.

Cranberry sauce.  A must, but only for the holiday, TG dinner.

Prime rib.  I don't eat a lot of meat especially beef but a couple of times a year prime rib, not a steak, really hits the spot!

Pumpkin bread or muffins.  I love them!  Until the end of October and then I don't want to see them until the next September.

@BlueFinch  So true! I stress over my cranberry sauce every year in an effort to get anyone to eat it. Almost nobody does, except for my SIL who is very polite. I've even resorted to putting it into my appetizers. Why do we feel compelled to do it???
