I grate carrots for salads 2-3 times a week by hand and was wondering whether grating carrots is something a food processor can do. I don't own a food processor but was considering buying one. If grating veggies for salads is something a processor can do I might be interested. I see some can "shred cheese" but not sure if that is just cheese and not hard carrots. Also, I saw a photo online of some "shredded zucchini" a blogger posted using her vitamix... And to me that wasn't shredded but more of a fine- mince. Not something I'd want on a salad. If anyone knows or has a recommendation for a processor tha can do this id appreciate it!
