I love chocolate but won't eat chocolate ice cream, cake or cookies....except for brownies.

Just the opposite. Love spinach raw, not cooked.

That's interesting. I am another one who MAJORLY dislikes mayonnaise. Even the word, the thought of it, the sight of it, and especially the smell of it, makes me queasy. It's just so gross. But, I'll tell you one thing that I seldom tell anybody - I will make a tuna sandwich for myself with it and it doesn't gross me out. But, of course, there ARE rules. I won't eat it made by anybody else. I will only buy that really tiny jar of Best Foods brand (I guess it's Hellman's in the east). I will toss the rest after I've used it because I don't even want to see it anymore.
And, I'm super picky that I put exactly the right amount in the tuna (along with green onions, celery seed, and s&p).
It's so weird because I find mayo so massively repugnant. But I'll do that one thing. I've always been rather closeted about it, probably because it's gross to think about it. ha!
Your secret is safe with us ;o)

Shrimp - but it had better be battered or breaded ! Have to have them covered up !

I eat prunes, and I also like almost everything tomato (soup, sauce, etc.), but can't stand tomato juice or prune juice - something about the density or ???
I like cooked celery, but don't care for raw celery.
Ham sandwiches are fine, but I can't stand "hot" (as in heated) ham.

I like tofu cooked with asparagus or miso soup but I can't eat it by itself.

Your post made me laugh twocent, that was how my daddy was. He claimed to not like shrimp, he wouldn't touch cocktail shrimp because he said he could taste iodine, and he hated shrimp in garlic butter.....but he loved the fluffy Japanese style tempura shrimp. He also loved English scampi (which is baby langostinos - like shrimp- battered and fried). He had very particular tastebuds.
I had to think on this question because there isn't much I don't like, but I guess my answer would be tuna. I love tuna steaks, like ahi tuna, and sushi, but I really dislike tuna in a can. I'll eat it, and very rarely I will get a can of tuna and make a tuna salad sandwich, but I really don't care for canned tuna.

I also eat tuna, potato and macaroni salad and deviled eggs, but mayo any other way turns my stomach. I will not eat a sandwich if mayo is on it. And the salads must have the least mayo possible. If too wet and creamy, I can't eat them.

lol Glad I made you smile !
I just can't imagine eating one not "covered up." Looks like a bug . Never thought about it much , until I saw shrimping done in Fla. Gave me a whole new outlook.

Speaking of tuna, I ate canned white tuna with peas for lunch. Sometimes I wonder why I eat this stuff, as I can't actually call it "yummy!" Tuna in a can is too close to a can of Spam. It somehow is just "wrong!"
