Make my own tartar sauce and use it with warm seafood. Worked at a seafood place in high school and still use their tartar sauce recipe. Also like tartar sauce with French fries.

Cocktail sauce or Heinz chili sauce for cold prawns/shrimp.

I cannot eat lobster or crab at all. But when I did try eating lobster it was with melted butter and dang, it was tasty. Just made me sick as all get out.

I am born and raised in New England and I hate fish.  However, I do love me some fried clams (do NOT remove those tasty little bellies!) and scallops.  What do I put on them?

Salt and pepper.  Do not pass GO and do not collect $200.00.

Shrimp with cocktail sauce?  I know that in Heaven there will be Olympic sized pools filled with shrimp and cocktail sauce.  I will be on the diving board.

BTW...I'm sure that most of you folks say "scallops" with the first syllable sounding like  the "A" in "California".  Here in Boston we say it sounding like the "A" in "hall, "ball" or "fall".  I'm sure they are delicious either way!

May I please ask how you make the tarter sauce?

Best Food mayo - or whatever good quality mayo you like

Finely diced sweet onions or yellow onions if that's what you like

Dill relish or finely chopped dill pickle

Fresh squeezed lemon juice

Proportions for 1/2 cup mayo I use 1 tbs onion, 1tbs  dill relish and 1tbs lemon juice. Mix all together and let set up for about 30 minutes or more.

Many thanks.  Your're very kind.

That's how we make tarter sauce, but we use Dukes mayo.

Sorry, I hit post by mistake. I edited to add proportions. Hope you like it if you try the tartar sauce.

I don't eat a lot of seafood, and don't eat any with breading and deep fried.  When I used to eat cold or fried shrimp, I dipped  both in homemade cocktail sauce w/extra horseradish. I don't eat shrimp anymore because I may be allergic.

With salmon, I like a lemon-dill cream sauce

Decades ago, I worked in my uncle's restaurant. They were seafood connoisseurs. They always served shrimp (hot or cold) w/ cocktail sauce; broiled or breaded fish w/ tartar; cold clams & oysters w/ coctail; lobster, hot clams, scallops w/ melted butter.
