Am I the only one who can not figure out why every food package requires that you completely destroy the original packaging to get the food out? This has frustrated me for some time, but this morning, opening the yogurt for my kids I just about screamed!
I get them the 8-12 count packages of yogurt that are connected and inside of the cardboard sleeve. When you want to get one container (single serve portion) out, you have to open up the cardboard, which releases ALL of the single serve containers. The cardboard is then rendered useless. Must be tossed.
It is the same with pretty much anything. Fruit cups, pudding cups, tuna. Why can't you just re-seal the packages and not be forced into re-packaging them all? I do not own stock in Ziploc or Lock-n-Lock, but you would swear I did if you saw my kitchen!
Let's not even discuss the rampant use of red packaging materials. Look inside the freezer and darn near every package is RED!!!!!!!!! Nothing catches your eye when everything is the same d**ned color!
UGH!
