Ooh, I would love both of those.   I had never heard of each, but I guess it's moot now, eh?  Smiley Wink

Stauffers usually always made pretty good stuff, so I imagine their lobster Neuberg was pretty decent.

Date Bar Mix!  I forget what brand name it was.  I remember I had to mix the "date" mix with hot water before spreading on the pre-baked crust and you would sprinkle some of the topping on it before baking.  So good!

Anyone have a similar tasting recipe?  My family loved them.

Nope, DIET RC Cola was around the same time as Diet Rite, at least it was in Southern California. As time went on the only place that carried it was Von's and then they discontinued it also. Boo hoo!

Cheerios came out with all gluten free varieties.  I know that's great news to some, but I can taste a difference and don't care to eat them anymore. I wish they'd offer the original formula again.

@kelsey17  I forgot about these.  They were so good served with mashed potatoes and green beans.

I also liked Zion Chocolate Chip Cookies.

The southern California markets carried Van de Kamp's baked goods -- yum.  Hot cross buns for Easter.  Six-pack of cupcakes for every holiday.   Two-layer decorated cakes.

@sweetee2, Oh yes, whip and chill, I remember it well. The chocolate variety was dessert at our house many nights.
