David has encouraged Mark Charles to add humor and silliness to the program; but lately their 'act' has become stale and out of line in some instances. Their predictability certainly isn't appreciated by this viewer.

Actually I wouldn't want to eat any of his food. Licking fingers,etc sets a bad example.

I don't care if the food is being thrown away, it really looks unprofessional and unbecoming, so I hope it isn't something that happens on any kind of regular basis.

Being down home and friendly is great, but not so much as to behave like that in a presentation.

I noticed this too.  While I understand I won't be eating the food and it shouldn't matter, it's a real turn off.  I agree with the other poster.  I think he is comfortable and doesn't realize he is doing this.  It's gross.
