If you get an Instant Pot you NEED a lid or cover for the pot.  That way you can put this cover on and put it in the fridge. If you use it a lot like we do, get a second pot!  But the cover is wonderful to have.

Instant pots cook TOO fast for me. It's hard to gauge just how long it takes to cook stuff without it being too tough like meat if you cook it to long and how long to cook beans without them turning mushy.

 

I grew up on regular pressure cookers, more reliable. What you get used too I think. The instant pots do have the stainless pots only thing I like about them over the Foodi, but, I'm energetic enough to where that's not a game changer.
