What are the things you have to have? I'll list my top ones, and look forward to hearing from others!
1. Canned tomatoes! I buy the organic ones mostly (lots when on sale) and use them in everything. I love the Hunts stewed ones just out of the can or with cottage cheese!
2. Flour--whole wheat and white. We have two bread machines and make almost all our bread, rolls and buns.
3. Dried beans.
4. Cornbread mix.
5. Onions and garlic.
6. Oats.
7. Rice
8. Canned vegs: Corn, green peas, green beans, mixed vegs. canned soups (Pacific tomato and pepper is a favoriet!). Canned beans of all sorts
9. Canned tuna, salmon, sardines, chicken breast.
10. And for us southerners: Canned Dixie Chow Chow!

@lolakimono Which reminds me: I have a few cans of canned pumpkin that I intend to make soup out of. I am not fond of pumpkin breads and such.
Do you use it for soup? I need to get busy and do that!

Mostly we use it to add to our kitties' wet food, but occasionally BF will bake me some treats with it.
He would not survive long without chocolate chips in the pantry.
I also like to have polenta and cornmeal in the pantry.
