First Attempt At Making Croutons

And I will never buy them again!

I had a half loaf of Italian bread left over from Sunday dinner, which I cubed & threw into a large bowl. Melted butter, added Spice of Life. Spread on a cookie sheet @ 300 degree oven - 12 minutes, tossing once in between. They are just so good!

Spice of Life - all @ 1 tablespoon measurements:

crushed red pepper

ground black pepper

dried oregano

dried rosemary

dried basil

parsley flakes

dried, granulated garlic

dried, minced garlic

sea salt

I almost never use croutons, but spice of life sounds really good.

I don't either! But what was I going to do with a half loaf of bread? I guess I could have made French toast. Oops, nope, cause I don't have any cream or milk.

Spice of Life is great for dipping oil and also on grilled chicken.

I buy great bagels directly from the place that makes them. I scoop them out and take the insides and make croutons. I use olive oil and Mrs. Dash. They turn out great.
