Wish I could feel that way about that stuff, but, sadly, I can't get on board with it. I eat the cheese and onion out of it when served in restaurant.

Salad dressings with vinegar  make me cough violently people turn and stare so no more vinaigrette either. I can go cole slaw, though, LOL

I have been eating salads - just not romaine.

Same here, have not missed a day of eating salad.  So versatile and can add many things to make up for something else.  Never cared for romaine much myself either so no great loss. Onions that would be another story have to have them in everything but dessert @DiAnne

We love aragula, butter lettuce too.  In California, I have no problem finding romaine that is not from Yuma, AZ.

I never gave up eating romaine lettuce. What I buy is from CA.

I love many vegetables, but am not now, nor have I ever been a fan of salad.   Just not crazy about lettuce, and usually only eat wilted leaf or iceberg lettuce with my beans and cornbread.   I like it with a lot of onion, bacon, the bacon drippings and vinegar.

Goodness.  I had no idea variety in lettuce was so hard to come by outside of California.  I didn't realize how lucky we are.

In fact, Whole Foods has a brand new selection called "Fresh Fields Blend" which contains baby butter, baby oak leaf lettuce, baby pak choi, baby spinach, baby mizuna, and baby kale.  It's my new favorite.
