We had our first salad in at least 2 weeks now!

Our romaine is properly sourced and I washed it thoroughly in vinegar water (as I always do) .........but I was extra cautious this time.

Oh how I missed salads!!!

How about you salads yet or not yet?

DH and I had Taco salads today and yesterday had a simple side salad at hideaway pizza. I trust the restaurants knew what they were serving.

I like butter lettuces, don't care for Romaine, so no interruption in salad eating for me.

@Abrowneyegirl  I don't feel well if I don't have greens (and lots of 'em) every day.  Greens are life.  If they are not in a huge salad, they end up in a smoothie, or a big bed of greens topped with roasted taters or vegan chili.  They just always make their way into the menu, nutrient dense food that promotes health.  So glad that you have reunited with your greens...bottoms up to you health!

Oh, no nutrition wise I was not worried.  We eat tons of produce daily from artichokes and bok choy to watercress and broccoli rabe.  The only thing I removed was raw salad.

It is now finally warm weather here in the NE so we really missed our huge salads.

Re: Finally a salad

[ Edited ]

@Abrowneyegirl  for me....greens = raw salad (although I eat lots of "greens" too...spinach, swiss/rainbow chard, kale, etc).   That is because I rarely use one kind of lettuce....butter, endive, romaine, iceberg, etc.  so I just call them greens. Sorry for the confusion.  I'm so glad you have started eating your salads every day, I'm sure you will feel healthier.  Heart

We got some carry-out from our local mediterranean grill this week, and it was heavenly (and we're not dead,)

Unfortunately we are romaine salad people, so we're looking elsewhere for our greens.

I eat salads everyday.  I prefer cabbage to lettuce, so I have been eating cabbage salad and spinach salad most of the time.

i do have some Romaine in the fridge, but it is not from Arizona.

I could never wait 14 days without salad!

I eat salad every day, too, (except for sauce on Sundays). Even then I'm hankering for a salad!
