I put off getting one because they all seemed to be huge for just one person and I just didn't have the counter space.  And then I found the DASH on Amazon (currently on sale for $42,00) and it is just right for me.  It's about 2.5 quarts.   I use it more than I thought I would.  I also love the DASH egg cooker.

As an aside, my 39 year old over the range microwave died a year ago.  At first I was going to replace it and then I found I really didn't miss it (except for the light it provided on my range top).  I actually use the air fryer more than I ever did the microwave.

I have the Ninja Crispi purchased recently. I really thought it might join the appliance graveyard but I must admit that I really love it. I can't compare to the other type but I am thinking of getting the Instant pot vortex airfryer for the mountain house. Amazon Prime does have an excellent price on both sizes for Prime Days.

I have the Ninja Crispi. It's just the two of us so it's the right size. Two bowls, one small, one large. Easy to clean. On sale at Costco this month if your interested.

Same here!  I love it!  Plus it's nice and lightweight and doesn't have to sit on the counter.  I store it in one of my cabinets.

I also love my Dash, but as I mentioned earlier in the thread, it's frustrating that the nonstick coating peels so easily on the tray and basket. And I wish the more durable ceramic version was offered in a color other than cream; the differences between the components that are metal vs plastic look very odd in that color. But the fryer itself is fantastic! Even though I got my new Cosori today and look forward to testing it out, it's likely that the Dash will be stored as a backup rather than getting chucked.  Smiley Wink

@loriqvc  I have the Dash Digital A/F and have had for a few years and never a problem with the coating peeling.so maybe we have different models...I have it in Gray and not sure this model comes in cream. https://bydash.com/cdn/shop/products/TastiCrispDigitalAirFryer_IO1_b324fcbe-bd8d-4431-a028-088598379e01.jpg?v=1666282458&width=713

@89135 - The model you are showing is the one I have, which uses standard nonstick coating rather than ceramic coating. The Dash model with the ceramic coating is only available in cream.

ETA: The ceramic coating on the interior is in grey, so it is easy to identify. Dash even sent me a ceramic tray to replace my peeling nonstick tray, and it works wonderfully, but the nonstick basket still has issues.

I just purchased the Wolfgang Puck air fryer while it was on sale and had free shipping. I pre measured it (or my space) and it seems bigger than I thought. I like it fairly well. I did buy a fire resistant pad from the big A to set it on as it gets very hot. One thing I really like are dials. I purchased this to replace a Green Pan(?) one bought at QVC that had digital operation and had great difficulty setting it and had to just pull the plug to shut it off. I had to purchase a new one because (my bad) I dropped the pan on the floor and it was bent out of shape.

I also have a small Dash one ,but it is generally too small for us.

If I had my 'druthers' and a larger budget I would have went with the Ninja Crispi as I like how it can be stored in a cabinet. But I worry what you do with the heating element--could I accidently place it where it would burn something ?

I love an air fryer for potatoes--fries/baked/etc. I am going to try someday to cook a bloomin onion.
