I know there was a discussion here recently about the Farberware Superfast perculator, but doing a search only brought up threads that were a year or more old.
so indulge me please. I used to have a Farberware perculator. it was one of the first things I bought when I got out of school. I don't remember if it was called "Superfast" or not, but it was superfast and made the best tasting cup of coffee.
I have a Keurig, and it's fast & convenient for workday mornings, but honestly, the coffee doesn't taste very good.
so I went online to do a little research and ,sadly, I found that Farberware perculators are now made in China ( they used to be made in the U.S.). there were a lot of complaints about them not lasting very long , compared to the older ones lasting 15 + years.
has anyone here had both the older version and now a newer one? any complaints or problems with the new vs the old?
I'm actually thinking about just skipping the Chinese made new ones and buying a "vintage" one on eBay.
