Believe me, I'm sure trays of Rastelli ribeyes, 20/40/60 lbs of KCPrime rib, and platters and platters of lobster from Maine will getting eaten by the crew, production staff and hosts.  Especially the higher priced items that people may not buy every day.  Every host is ready to take a germack jar, squirrel brand nuts, etc, bags of popcorn or Cheryl's cookies (for a later snack). Great extra perk, I guess.  QVC employs a lot of people.  Some items MAY get wasted sitting under lights all day, but cutting into 10 prime ribs right out of the oven, I doubt are wasted.  Cost of doing business.

I'm guessing some of ALL the wine they drink may be grape juice or sparkling juice.
