Emeril's Non Stick

I was so wanting to buy this until I found out it is made with PTFE similar to Teflon. This PTFE is from France. Why in this day and time can't they make a non stick safe. I watched several presentations on TS and nothing about what the non stick was made from.I caleed CS and they had nothing so then I wrote on their facebook page and this is the response I got.

I followed the link and really they don't talk about PTFE. T-fal does now carry an Eco Friendly Non Stick but I don't think its in this. Frustrated!
