Am wondering what's the difference(s) between the original tsv and the new CE mandoline?

One major difference is reducing your hand exposure to the blades. I'm amazed at the dice function, which is rare in mandolines. This is a real steal, especially in the black, if you like the set thicknesses. I may still hold out for the PL8 available elsewhere because of thtat, but with free S&H in black, this seems a great deal.
