I love eggs and eat alot of them.  I like to dip the soft yolk the best (we call them dip eggs) but I eat them however they are fixed.  As I don't cook, I don't know what white stuff we are discussing and I never heard of chalaza. DH is our cook, thank goodness.

The only white stuff I know is the membrane between the egg and the shell.  I will hard boil eggs to make egg salad and if you ice down the boiled egg that stuff remains in the shell when you peel it.

@CherryHugs

Yes, it grosses me out!  That is why I like to fry my eggs in bacon grease, then spoon the grease on top of the egg to cook it.  Perfect, yellow runny yolk and cooked white part with little crispy edges.  And don't forget the bacon that was just fried.  Oh, then make some cream gravy with the left-over grease to spoon on top of the homemade biscuits!

Nope.  We love eggs and eat at least one hard cooked egg daily.  Don't toss that yolk, there's lots of good stuff in there! 🍳

The yolk and egg white must be cooked all the way.

I eat scrambled or hard boiled eggs. Occasionally I eat hard fried egg.

Eggs have always grossed me out.  The only way I will eat an egg is when I make a cake or other baked food.

Are you referring to the chalaza...the two white strings that attached the egg to the shell?

Wow!

I never knew there was a name for that "thing," but I find it disgusting, and I always pull it out with a fork, before making anything with eggs.

Someone, somewhere must have a recipe specifically for the chalaza.
