Is it really 17" long, I won't have that space needed on my stovetop.

@skittles2 - The 17.4" measurement is the length with both handles included; the width is listed as 11.1" so that would be the main diameter of the pan. (Most listings for pots and pans don't include the handle in their measurements but this one does.)

@loriqvc

Thank you.  I'm sorry,  my message wasn't clear. I understood the pan was 11", thought I heard someone mention that on a presentation.

 I know the normal handle, as in a dutch oven's handle, is usually 1 1/2".   I had hoped the longer handle was shorter thus making the overall length of 17" a mistake.

After I made the post I went ahead an ordered it, which I really don't know what I was thinking, because I hadn't ordered a pan with long handles in years. They get in my way and I end up playing chess with my pans to get the long handles out of the way.

I called right back to cancel, which they said they did. However, I just checked my orders and it's listed as processing.

Called again, was told the Vendor ok'd it for shipping, so it's too late, and return it with no shipping taken out.

No worries, CS was great.

 It  looks lovely and a great combo Dutch and Casserole/Skillet. Wish it had 2 regular handles, would've been perfect. Plus I got it in the color I've been wanting since I saw the color on LC's site months ago, Sea Salt.

Thanks again!

...sorry, again... I have other LC pieces and know they include the handles in the measurements, but this would have been my first piece with 2 different handles. I had hoped for a typo in the length...Cat Wink

@skittles2 - I'm sorry you weren't able to retract your order, but at least you have a chance to take a look at the pot in person and see if it just might work for you. Good luck with everything!
