I don't think Chris Pryme (sp?) was out the door and already there's an egg container to rival Lock'n Lock's.  Goodness, Mark Charles sold the heck out of these things and I suppose it was a good job because the item sold out.  I often wonder if LnL items are going to be a thing of the past.  BTW, I've see very similar egg containers in retail for about $7 for 1.   They were stackable, but the part that holds eggs didn't "slide" out.

@coffee drinker

I have a LocknLock egg container that I've been happy with.  I wanted to look at whatever egg container you were talking about but I don't see it listed under Items Recently on Air.  And I don't know who Mark Charles is, since I order from QVC dot com, not TV.  More info, please?

I've never understood the need for an egg container.  I've always just used the carton it comes in.

@shoesnbags Check item K68360.  You'll see who Mark Charles is also.  Last night they were sold out, but seems like they're available today.  How does that happen?  I also have LnL egg containers and they are just fine.

@CoffeeNut

Mine was part of a LnL set ordered from QVC.  I decided to try it out and I've kept using it.  We don't use many eggs, so I tend to keep them past the date on the carton. So far, they're keeping just fine so maybe the LnL container is helping.  It definitely helps keeps the eggs from breaking when heavy handed Mr. Shoes handles the container lol.

@CoffeeNut Obviously, you didn't see the demo last night. Check item A68360 for the video.  Don't you realize you can easily smash the original carton eggs come in.  So many things can happen if you don't have these containers.  I am being a bit sarcastic.  Not to you, but regarding selling tactics.

@CoffeeNut I'm with you.....figure the farmer knows best.  Carton

offers some breathing material = not smothered under heavy plastic.

@coffee drinker - Yeah, David went a bit loopy during this presentation last night, becoming more fixated than usual on the colors and then insisting on filling one of the trays at high speed before smashing the original egg carton to smithereens. Weird.

Re: Egg Containers

[ Edited ]

I've been using a similar product bought from Amazon for several years. The only difference is mine holds 16 eggs and were a lot cheaper.
