Just wrote to Edy's and suggested they put a safety seal of some kind over their ice cream.

Bought a half gallon of Edy's Grand yesterday, lifted the cover and was surprised there wasn't a plastic wrap over the ice cream! Put the cover back on and thought to myself, there is no way I would of known if someone already lifted the cover, didn't look any different than when I bought it.

I would think larger companies such as Edy's would have a plastic tamperproof seal over the ice cream or even a plastic ring that needs to be removed around the outside of the carton.

All it takes is one person to cause havok on a company and hopefully someone will listen.
