Oh, geez, I love chocolate! Usually take a normal bite and enjoy. However, was recently placed on a very restricted food plan which eliminated chocolate. Boy, am I having a hard time with this, so decided to give up chocolate for lent and hope that by doing that I can permanently get away from chocolate. (yeh, right...)

That commercial always struck me as odd.

They make it look like that piece of chocolate is 12 ft x 12 ft.....seriously, I pop those things in my mouth, chew, and swallow faster than a New York minute.

LOL!! DH actually saw that commercial and said to me, "REALLY??? WHO, and I do mean, WHO actually eats chocolate like that??" I had to laugh because I don't know anyone who would - and certainly I would not. I have no qualms whatsoever "HOOVERING" in anything that is a good chocolate. I would say ANY chocolate, but that isn't true - some of it isn't good - too grainy, too fakey, etc.

JESSA: Too funny - my best friend of 25 years has always eaten Reese's that way. When we were roommates after high school, she would buy a pack of them, eat ONE, then wrap up the other and just let the thing SIT for days sometimes. One time I finally said, " Are you ever going to eat that thing?" She said she wasn't up for it at the time, but if I wanted it I could have it. So from that point on, it was GAME ON. She knew what would happen if she left ONE little, lonely Reese's PB cup sittin' around the place. So...my job was to go to Kmart and get one of those big packages of individual wrapped large ones so I could replace them when needed. Ohhh, the days........ I haven't had one of those in two years.

Gotta love chocolate!!!

Maybe they had so many retakes they were sick of eating it - is that even possible, lol?

LOL !!! I always have dark chocolate at my office. I tend to reach for it when I am get stressed on the job. It does not solve my dilemma of the moment, but I sure enjoy it!

I take 3 Dove chocolate eggs, unwrap the foil, pop all 3 in my mouth at once....put the bag in the freezer and let the three melt SLOWLY in my mouth.

I do the same with Lindt truffles...but just ONE out of the freezer.
